We want to hear from anyone who has received a text message without your consent from E-VITE, PUNCHBOWL, THE KNOT, or any of the companies listed below. You may be entitled to compensation for Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) violations.
The TCPA restricts text messages to cell phones unless the person texted has previously provided their consent to receive those text messages. If you received text messages from any of the companies listed below on your cell phone, THE TEXTING COMPANY MUST GET YOUR CONSENT BEFORE THE TEXTS ARE MADE! Without that consent, YOU MAY HAVE A CLAIM UNDER THE TCPA!
The TCPA imposes a penalty for each violation of $500.00 or $1500.00, depending on if the violation was willful on the part of the texter or not.
